About Zohar

Zohar is 12 years old. She is autistic. And she makes every single piece in this shop, by hand, in Israel.

It started as something small — a way for Zohar to work with her hands, focus on something she loved, and create things that felt entirely her own. Concrete turned out to be the perfect material for her: forgiving, tactile, and full of possibility. What began as a few simple designs has grown into a full collection of Judaica and home decor, each piece shaped, poured, and finished by Zohar herself.

Every candle holder, tray, and Kiddush cup starts with the same simple mix — Portland cement, fine granulated marble, and a polymer additive — blended and poured entirely by hand. Zohar designs the shapes herself, drawing on Jewish tradition and her own sense of what feels beautiful and calm. No two pieces are identical. The small air bubbles, soft variations in texture, and subtle imperfections aren't mistakes — they're proof that a real person made this, one piece at a time.

Zohar HaOr Judaica is named for her — HaOr means "the light" in Hebrew. Every purchase directly supports a 12-year-old autistic artist building something real: her own small business, her own creative voice, and her own confidence, one handmade piece at a time.
